We live not far from the Land's End, run a gardening business, looking after gardens from Ludgvan to St. Levan and grow our own organic vegetables and flowers. Maggie also makes stunning patchwork quilts.
For some years we dealt in mail-order books, and during this time we published over half-a-dozen booklets under our Hare's Ear Publications imprint. Two are still available: 'To Cornwall With a Cat' (autobiographical story of our move to the far west of Cornwall) (1st edition 2003) and: 'John Seymour: A Collectors' Bibliography' . A complete listing of self-sufficiency guru John Seymour's 40+ books, plus scarcity ratings for collectors (1st edition 2005)... If you would like to purchase a copy of either booklet go to our listings at: amazon.co.uk

Buy Local.. Trade Local... THINK Local

Radio like it used to be...
Timeline: I worked with Mike Ross on a mobile disco' in the late '60's - I left for a girl, Mike shortly afterwards went on to Radio Northsea International, where he was to become one of the stations longest-serving dj's. In the mid-1970's I again joined the mobile disco circuit playing night clubs, youth centres and army damces, but also worked with Paul Burnett and Roger Twiggy Day. Someone once said I sounded like, 'Tony Blackburn with a cold'! My theme was 'Image' by Alan Haven - and all-time most requested tracks: 'Albatross', Fleetwood Mac and 'You Made Me So Very Happy', Blood, Sweat & Tears. Do catch RNI's weekend English service broadcasts!
